Why aren’t you working out?!


It is so annoying when people are proud of not working out. They are proud of not taking care of their bodies???   This whole thought process boggles my mind.

First working out and eating right = being healthy! Why wouldn’t you want to eat right and strengthen your body to prevent future ailments/ diseases…eliminating depression/stress? I am guessing you don’t care. So you rather get sick, become obese the follow up to that is diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, body failure, muscles imbalances, achy bones and muscles, can’t walk without pain; eventually leading to endless medicine and high medical bills….and then close your eyes for good. High five you win and the food and drug administration has youslumped-sitting-posture-01 for life!

As we get older our bones & muscles get weak (crackle crackle) the load our body takes from work (sitting or standing) all day takes even more of a toll on our bodies. Day in and day out… stress, what fuel you’re putting in your body, how you move or not move all play a HUGE role on how your body functions.

I come from a cultured back ground that has lots of yummy food that is NOT good for you. Our track record is one of the highest in diseases and sicknesses. Old school doesn’t know any better and they will listen to everything the Dr. says, developing a medicine cabinet that resembles a pharmacy and my father is a prime example of that. Now he is too far in the hole…my preaching at this point just makes him angry.
